    About ABC: The Association to Benefit Children (ABC) is dedicated to ensuring that every child has a joyful, healthy, and safe life through compassionate and innovative programs since 1986. ABC is currently seeking a lead infant/toddler teacher at Cassidy's Place (419 E 86th Street) in the Early Childhood/Early Head Start programs.

    Teachers in the Early Head Start program at Cassidy's Place work as a team with children birth-age 3.

    Responsibilities of the teacher include:

    • Lesson planning, conducting assessment, and curriculum implementation
    • Maintaining a safe, organized learning environment
    • Maintaining accurate and timely classroom records/documentation

    Qualifications of the teacher:

    • A minimum of an infant/toddler CDA (Child Development Associate) OR AA in ECE
    • NYS Early Childhood Educator license preferred OR TA Certificate OR Certificate in process with a study plan
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
    • For eligible borrowers, ABC is a qualifying employer for public service loan forgiveness as a non-profit organization.

    Salary: $37,662 - $59,172 per year (dependent on credential)
