- Responsible for the medical care of a panel of adult patients
- Work closely with the care team to optimize the health of patients, provide preventive care, diagnose and treat chronic and acute illnesses
- Participate in all activities necessary to implement the multi-disciplinary team approach for the care of adult patients
- Participate in Quality Improvement and Quality Assurance activities of the Health Center and the Internal Medicine service to improve the health care of patients
- Supervise and teach nurse practitioners, nursing staff and medical students as needed
- Meet minimum productivity targets
- Maintain medical privileges and credentialing
- Obtain and maintain privileges at a local hospital
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Graduate of an accredited medical school and licensed to practice in New York State
- Certification or eligible for certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Family Medicine, American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine, or American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians
- Knowledge of a second language (such as Bengali, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Spanish or other languages) preferred
- Full-Time Base Salary: $180,000.00 per year
