    POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
    The Vice President of Leadership Programs will be responsible for overseeing the overall management of the program department, which includes managing a budget of $1.5 million, supervising 5 staff members, consultants, and coaches. This role entails leading program development, delivery, evaluation, fundraising, budget planning, knowledge management, and fostering external relationships. As a part of the senior management team, the Vice President plays a crucial role in driving HACE's strategies on both national and international levels. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this position collaborates closely with the leadership team.


    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Overall Program Delivery:
      • Set and execute the department's program direction; oversee program logistics, events (e.g., kick-off and graduation receptions), and program execution (both in-person and virtually).
    • Program Leadership & Management:
      • Ensure consistent quality in finance, administration, fundraising, communications, and systems; propose timelines and resources to accomplish program objectives.
      • Recruit, nurture, mentor, and retain high-performing team members, empowering them to expand their responsibilities, authority, and performance.
      • Promote communication and cohesion among teams, maintain organizational culture, and support staff during organizational growth.
      • Collaborate with the COO on developing and executing HACE's financial strategy regarding leadership and program growth.
      • Supervise one direct report and 5-30 program consultants and speakers to ensure successful program delivery and participant experience.
      • Engage with HACE staff, Board of Directors, and Auxiliary Board members on fundraising activities and informational sessions.
      • Recruit, train, and supervise Account/Program Managers or Support Team members as required.
      • Formulate and present account management plans for new recruits.
    • Program Design, Development, & Evaluation:
      • Collaborate with corporate partners to guarantee engagement and seamless program delivery and relevant events.
      • Propose and explore innovative concepts, transforming strategic ideas into actionable plans and results.
      • Work with the Program Director on developing new program content, designing curricula, and setting agendas to enhance impact and value for participants.
      • Establish metrics for assessing success in leads, partnerships, profit margins, and overall productivity.
      • Analyze and report qualitative and quantitative feedback from participants to identify achievements and areas for enhancement.
      • Lead the creation and execution of new programs and initiatives.
    • Knowledge Management:
      • Develop systems, procedures, and tools to facilitate the gathering and dissemination of knowledge produced through partnerships.
      • Establish dissemination processes to share organizational knowledge with diverse communities.
      • Evaluate key project outcomes and leverage them for maximum community and organizational influence.
      • Collaborate with the senior management team to incorporate cross-program activities and functions.
      • Assist in recruiting sponsors and individual participants, identify opportunities, and engage leadership program alumni.
      • Collaborate with the marketing team to cultivate press and influencer relationships and enhance HACE's leadership programs brand.
      • Assess and participate in relevant events and conferences to fortify the leadership program's brand.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree in business, education, psychology, or a related field; a minimum of 9+ years in nonprofit management, program management, curriculum delivery and development, leadership development, and professional/workforce development; MBA/Master's Degree preferred.
    • Demonstrated success in effectively leading performance-based and outcome-based programs and teams.
    • Background in product development and educational programs is desirable.
    • Proven leadership and foresight in managing staff groups and significant projects or initiatives.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management approach.
    • Experience in program budget development and oversight.
    • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Hubspot) or willingness to learn.
    • Dedication to high professional ethical standards and fostering diversity in the workplace.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, community-focused environment.
    • Track record of effectively managing customer relationships and community programs.
    • Superb verbal, written, interpersonal communication, and presentation abilities.
    • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable with minimal supervision.
    • Experience in marketing or sales-related activities.
    • Unwavering commitment to quality programs and excellence in organizational and project management.
    • Capability to achieve strategic goals and oversee a budget.
    • Demonstrated capacity to handle multiple tasks in a high-paced setting.
    • Experience collaborating closely with senior leadership and executives.
    • Exceptional customer relationship skills and robust project management and execution capabilities.
    • Proficiency with online application tools and social media platforms.
    • Willingness to travel nationally up to 10%-20% of the time, when in-person programming is feasible.
