About the Job

20% Handle samples, extractions, sequencing, analysis, and writing of paper focused on conservation genetics of Kinosternon turtles.

15% Lab citizen: helping with general lab management and fish colony upkeep

65% Handle samples including fieldwork, extractions, sequencing, analysis, and writing of papers focused on genetics of adaptation in multiple species of cavefish. Organize and handle sequencing and analysis of >100 species of cave and surface fish for deep time comparisons of evolutionary rates, relaxed selection, and adaptation.

Job duties across all three categories include taking detailed, clear logs of all work, sufficient for reproduction of the work using Git and Googledocs.
