Responsibilities

Under overall direction of the PM&R Director and Clinical Supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, the Staff Physical Therapist examines and evaluates patients and administers Physical Therapy interventions in collaboration with the referring physician.

The Physical Therapist demonstrates competency in skills necessary to care for and manage primarily adult and geriatric age patients. The Physical Therapist sees patients in an acute care, outpatient, or acute inpatient rehabilitation unit setting.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (or related field if a more advanced degree in PT is held), required Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy.

This requirement is waived for individuals who were licensed prior to the requirement of the Doctorate Degree for licensure.
