    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and Level 1 trauma background for a 13-week night shift contract at an acute care facility in Omaha, NE.

    Responsibilities
    Acute care hospital setting with a Level 1 trauma designation
    CT department with 8 treatment areas
    Mixed patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics with high-acuity cases
    Procedures include CTAs, cardiac CT, perfusion imaging, and a wide variety of CT studies in a busy OR and ER environment
    Uses Siemens CT equipment and Bracco contrast injectors

    Night shifts, Saturday through Monday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
    May float between the main campus and a stand-alone ER campus
    Potential to float to MRI, X-ray, or Ultrasound depending on position
    Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; driver's license will be used to verify permanent address
    Candidates may not currently be employed full time, part time, or PRN at any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity
    Candidates who were directly employed by a CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity facility within the past year are not eligible; those who worked PRN through outside firms will be considered
    RTO requests must be submitted upfront; a maximum of 7 days per 13-week contract will be considered, and no additional RTO will be approved after submission
    Department-specific orientation is approximately 36–40 hours
    This is a fast-paced, high-acuity environment; successful travelers are proactive, adaptable, and strong problem solvers
    Overnight technologists are preferred to be capable of performing both CT and X-ray
    Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments; refusal to comply may result in contract termination
    Radiation badge is provided by the facility
    Holiday coverage may be required based on department needs

    Requirements
    Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
    Level 1 trauma experience required
    Travel experience required
    Active BLS (AHA) and ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (CT) preferred
    Ability to perform venipuncture as required
    Proficiency with Siemens CT equipment preferred
    A valid driver's license is required for consideration and will be used to verify permanent address
    2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both must include dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
    License required if applicable — active state or compact (NLC) licensure required; pending licenses will not be accepted
