- Deploy and configure wired and wireless local network infrastructure, including routers, switches, wireless controllers, access points, phone systems (VoIP), and firewalls.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and monitor networks.
- Work with service providers to resolve internet, phone, and WAN circuit issues.
- Work with vendors as needed to install, troubleshoot, or upgrade network infrastructure.
- Work with other IT staff to identify and resolve network-related issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or two (2) yearsof experience required, or a combination of education and/or experience.
- Proven experience with the following technologies: routing, switching, firewalls, wireless.
- Demonstrates knowledge of wired and wireless network architectures, principals, and protocols.
- Knowledge of routing, switching and wireless.
- Strong proficiency using a Personal Computer (PC)
- Exceptional communication skills to include the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to diverse audiences.
- Ability to adapt to changes in priorities.
- Ability to be results oriented and exhibit a high degree of creativity, energy, and resourcefulness.
