    Description

    Retail Service Specialist

    AAA East Central is offering a full-time Retail Service Specialist position at our Portsmouth branch. The branch operates Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, and on Saturdays from 9:00am to 12:00pm.

    We are seeking individuals who excel in sales and service, specializing in cross-selling and upselling products. This role within our branch network provides an exciting opportunity for candidates interested in collaborative work with AAA members.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Greeting and assisting members and customers, delivering Legendary Service;
    • Achieving sales and service targets for various AAA products and services;
    • Preparing TripTik travel routings, road maps, tour books, and other travel-related materials;
    • Assisting with hotel and car rental reservations, as well as providing travel information;
    • Issuing passport photos;
    • Processing product payments, ensuring accuracy in transactions;
    • Completing assigned job-related tasks as directed by management.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience in retail sales, banking, or similar customer service/sales roles;
    • Demonstrated ability to surpass sales or service quality objectives;
    • Flexibility to work overtime, including on Saturdays;
    • Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications;
    • Availability for local travel as needed;
    • High school diploma or GED equivalent;
    • Successful completion of pre-employment evaluations and screenings.
