    Description


    Spherion Staffing Reno, NV is recruiting for a direct hire opportunity for inventory specialist for manufacturer of hosing related products in Sparks, NV.$18 per hour, M-F, 8am-5pm.

    Some nights and weekends required.


    Benefits begin after 30 daysResponsibilities:
    Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity.
    Maintain product identification and location program.
    Research inventory discrepancies and ability to reconcile them.
    Responsible for completing physical inventories/cycle counts/random or receiptaudits/reconciliations.
    Track and report non-conforming product.
    Resolve inventory problems in a timely manner.
    Document damaged product.
    Must be able to lift 50 lbs. as part of the job function.
    Must be able to pass the forklift certification test and drive a forklift on a daily basis.
    Must be computer literate.
    Have strong verbal and written skillsMust be detailed oriented.


    Working hours:
    8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment
    • Ability to routinely lift/move up to 50 pounds
    • Ability to maintain a moderate level of visual attention and mental concentration forsignificant periods of time as required.
    • Ability to operate necessary office equipment, computer software, hardware andequipment at a high level.
    - Ability to perform the following physical activities: fine manipulating with hands, talking,hearing and repetitive motions

    Education:
    High SchoolExperience:4-7 yearsQualifications:Must have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent for this position.
    Relevant warehouse experience within the last 5 years.
    Recent experience with Cycle counting/inventory .Must be certified to operate forklift/reach truck at current or previous company.

    Must be computer literate and have experience in any WMS.Must be able to work efficiently in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment, whilekeeping correct dataDirect hire opportunity.
