BISO Role

Conduct risk assessments on information systems and infrastructure during product release; provide recommendations for risk treatment and mitigation, and effectively communicate findings and suggestions to IT project teams and management.
Foster a culture of information security awareness within each relevant business unit.
Alert the business and security domains about current and emerging security threats.
Develop solutions that align business needs with information and cyber security requirements.
Collaborate with business units, application teams, architectural teams, and third-party vendors to offer guidance on security controls for managing risks for TFS.
Contribute to the development of (security) Threat Model designs and exercises.
Maintain a deep understanding of security best practices and technologies.
Effectively communicate technical topics to various audiences, including technology teams, leaders, and non-technical business users.
Handle multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously covering diverse business initiatives.
Conduct active service improvement discussions with key business stakeholders to ensure optimal operation of BISO services.
Provide reports, communication, and feedback to other BISOs and senior Information Security management regarding BISO function performance.
Identify, contribute to, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in BISO function and information security overall in the responsible business and technology domain.

Ensure regular attendance to support team and business objectives.
Be able to work flexible hours, including day, evening, and weekend shifts.
Other related responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Effectively identify, communicate, and escalate issues promptly.
