Opportunity Overview:

We are currently seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our emergency care team in North Carolina.

This locum tenens position offers a dynamic opportunity to work in a well-established emergency department, providing essential care to patients.

Position Details:

Schedule:
Various shifts available in August and September. Candidates must be flexible and able to start once credentialed.


Experience Required:
Inpatient emergency department experience within the last 12 months is mandatory


Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, and PALS/APLS certifications required, all through the American Heart Association


License:
NC DEA required


Responsibilities:
Respond to codes and provide acute care. No ICU/Critical Care duties involved.


Support:
Immediate patient transfer capabilities through air and ground support, with specialty consultations available


Facility Highlights:
21-bed hospital with dedicated emergency department and operating rooms. Onsite anesthesiologist and radiologist, with 24-hour laboratory availability. System-wide EMR (EPIC) implementation.


Team Composition:
Collaborate with a team of 6 physicians and 3 nurse practitioners/physician assistants
