    Finance Manager

    Dallas, TX - Fully Remote

    **Candidates must be currently located in the DFW area to be eligible for hire**

    One of Vaco's PE-backed clients with operations across the United States is looking to onboard an FP&A Manager as part of a newly created role. Managers will oversee SG&A, the annual operating plan, be highly involved in building out forecasting templates and models and support business valuations and M&A.

    The company itself is currently working through a lot of automation projects and would be a great fit for folks used to high-volume environments with lots of moving pieces.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and achievable budgets aligned with company goals.
    • Develop long-range financial plans and forecasts to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
    • Continuously monitor financial performance against forecasts and budgets, identifying variances and providing insights to management.
    • Prepare comprehensive financial analyses, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modeling, to support decision-making by senior management.
    • Provide insightful commentary on financial results and trends, highlighting key drivers and areas of concern or opportunity.
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal stakeholders and external parties, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.
    • Partner with department heads to develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to drive performance improvements.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve financial planning and analysis processes, systems, and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    • Implement best practices in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting to ensure data integrity and reliability.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
    • Proven track record of leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends to drive insights and recommendations.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present financial information to senior management.
    • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Microsoft Excel, and financial planning software; experience with ERP systems preferred.
