    Job Summary:

    As the Manager, Finance - Revenue Management and Optimization you are expected to support functional finance and Business Unit initiatives related to sales, pricing, promotions, and trade spend. You will assess and enhance processes, reporting, and analysis to ensure reporting and controls over pricing, promotions, and discounting decisions are effective, efficient, and drive consistency in definition of business / financial terms and metrics. You will ensure the accuracy of financial results, analysis, and forecasts; drive compliance to policies and controls to ensure appropriate monthly judgments and estimates are booked / accrued; review and approve journal entries and monthly reconciliations.

    Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 7+ years of related experience supporting a Sales & Marketing organization
  • Working knowledge of ERP, data warehouse query, and planning tools
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters in Business Administration, CMA/CPA
  • Work in a CPG or software as a service environment
  • Experience with SAP, SAP BI, and Business Planning & Consolidations (BPC)
  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with functional VP's for the financial assessment and analysis of strategic initiatives / objectives and champion business behaviors to achieve them
  • Oversee / provide financial decision support, assess support requirement, participate in sales and marketing meetings; provide analysis on customer pricing, contractual rebates, promotions / programs, and other metrics / trends; provide training and support to drive financial acumen across functions
  • Support the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes for the Sales and Sales Operations functional area; ensure plans and forecasts are aligned with strategic direction; drive compliance to planning calendar timelines, lead budgeting / forecasting of functional strategic initiatives
  • As a Manager, you will:

  • Motivate and lead a high performance team by attracting, developing, engaging, and retaining team members
  • Drive the performance management and compensation processes by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback, and facilitating employee development per the company's policies
  • Maintain transparent communication by appropriately communicating organization information to team through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email, IM, and regular interpersonal communications
  • Lead and motivate individuals and teams to create a workplace culture that is consistent with the Chamberlain Group mission, vision and values.
