    Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector is seeking a Principal Modeling Simulation Systems Engineer or Sr.

    The qualified applicant will work in our Buffalo, New York office, where we focus on the development and production of state-of-the-art EW Simulation Systems solutions.

    Develops new and/or integrates existing system simulation frameworks, performance models and algorithms, threat models and command and control models.

    Simulates real-time operations and develops software that simulates behavior of systems. Models operational environments, performs trade studies via computer simulation and recommends alternative architectures. Perform verification at customer locations, perform digital and analog signal analysis, and incorporate threat models into the customer prime mission equipment
    Perform end-user training, traveling world-wide to customer locations to provide training for 1-2 weeks in duration.

    The training is given to technical audiences of 4-30+ people, involving a high level of customer interaction, question-and-answer sessions, and acceptance testing.

    Develop new and/or integrates existing system simulation frameworks, performance models and algorithms, threat models and command and control models.

    Simulate real-time operations and develop software that simulates behavior of systems.
    Models operational environments, performs trade studies via computer simulation and recommends alternative architectures.
    Performs operational analysis and mission effectiveness analysis.

    Bachelor's degree in a STEM related field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; Experience performing SIGINT/ELINT intelligence analysis or simulation of threat radar systems.

    Experience with digital signal analysis tools and RF test equipment to verify signal characteristics.
    Familiarity with Next-Generation Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming (EWIR) System and Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming Database (EWIRDB).
    Experience teaching technical end users on prime mission equipment operation.
    Required to travel to domestic and foreign locations up to 25% based upon need.
    S. citizenship and active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain special access program clearances.

    Bachelor's degree in a STEM related field and a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience; Experience performing SIGINT/ELINT intelligence analysis or simulation of threat radar systems.

    Experience with digital signal analysis tools and RF test equipment to verify signal characteristics.
    Familiarity with Next-Generation Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming (EWIR) System and Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming Database (EWIRDB).

    S. citizenship and active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain special access program clearances.

    Active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and special access programs.

    Extensive Experience using the Next-Generation Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming (EWIR) System, Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming Database (EWIRDB) and Common Emitter Database (CED) intelligence databases.

    Experience in the operation and programming of the Combat Electromagnetic Environment Simulator (CEESIM) product.
    Expertise using various types of RF test equipment, (e.g. spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, time-domain analyzers, ... ) to measure and verify real world EW RF signals (e.g. interpulse & intrapulse modulations, PRI.
