Trial & Supervising Attorneys (6 years+ or more)

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, LLP (GRSM) has immediate openings for civil litigation attorneys with a minimum of at least six years' experience practicing within the state of Texas and welcome experienced practitioners to apply. We offer flexible options for successful candidates, including fully remote, hybrid, with part-time and full-time opportunities.

GRSM's insurance defense practice group is seeking established leaders and next generation leaders in several states to supervise teams and actively manage litigation matters from intake to trial in a variety of practice areas including General Liability, Commercial Litigation, and Employment. Trial experience is preferred, but not required.

This opportunity requires a high level of experience and independent judgment handling forward facing interactions and relationship development with clients. The primary client relationship partners will provide origination credits to qualified Partners. This is a long-term opportunity with growth potential for the right candidates.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and team members.
• Handle appearances ranging from status conferences, oral arguments, mediations, arbitration, evidentiary hearings, and trial.
• Lead and participate in case strategy discussions and collaboration.
• Oversight on the preparation of legal documents, including pleadings and complex motions.
• Lead and coordinate discovery team, including propounding and responding to written discovery, taking, and defending depositions, analyzing complex documents, and research.
• Prepare Expert Witnesses and Client Representatives

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Juris Doctorate and active membership in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
• 6+ years of defense litigation experience.
• First or second chair jury trial experience is preferred.
• Proven experience with insurance defense is preferred.
• Capacity to manage a substantial case load.
• Comfortable working in a remote environment and willing to travel to appearances.

We offer competitive compensation and a full benefits package including eligibility for subjective and objective bonuses and student debt repayment assistance. The yearly salary range is between $145,000–$275,000 depending on location and experience.
