What We Offer:
Position Summary:
The role provides direct support to the Senior Manager of Foodservice Operations to ensure food and beverage programs are able to be executed at the store level. This role is the primary Operations support to the Category Management team, and is responsible for creating training content, SOPs, oven settings, and equipment orders to support program execution. By leveraging leadership skills, effective communication, and attention to detail, the position supports the creation of a food culture by giving operators the tools to increase food sales and control waste. The role also assists with the rollout of new programs, including working directly with vendors to place orders, process POs, and coach the field.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the progress of foodservice initiatives, programs, goals, and projects with store operations, including:
2. Own the creation of SOPs for all food & beverage programs, regularly reviewing and updating to ensure that posted content is current and relevant for all field operators
3. Develop oven settings for multiple makes/models and work with DMs to ensure updates are made as needed (including providing content for them to load onto machines in the field)
4. Support equipment innovation, including troubleshooting, training, and managing the ordering and installation of test units in the SSC and in stores
5. Managing billing and invoicing for foodservice equipment projects and tests
6. Act as a liaison to Health & Safety, working with Category Managers in evaluating product samples and vendor cooking recommendations to ensure they are compliant and feasible in our stores
7. Own the foodservice training content library, gathering inputs from category managers and working with training team to build materials and delivery mechanism
8. Set up new items in ICC label maker to ensure accuracy in POS data at the store level
9. Serve as a communication link between store teams, District Managers, Regional Managers, and corporate operations for foodservice-related matters
10. Ensure compliance with company protocols and best practices for foodservice operations.
11. Compile and coordinate reports and surveys as needed for the Senior Manager, Foodservice Operations
Working Relationships:
Store Managers, Foodservice Leaders, District Managers, Regional Managers, Foodservice Category Managers, Training Team, Health & Safety
Minimum Education: HS Diploma or GED
Preferred Education: Associate's Degree
Minimum Experience: Working knowledge of foodservice programs and operational policies and procedures.
Preferred Experience: Kitchen Manager (FSL), Store Manager
Licenses/Certifications: ServSafe Certified
Soft Skills/Competencies:
Travel: Up to 10% travel, within local area, to visit stores.
Hours & Conditions: Typically, Monday – Friday, 8+ hour days in office setting, may be able to work 1 day from home with approval.
Physical Requirements: Primarily sitting / standing at computer for long periods of time. Ability to maneuver and regularly lift and or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Ability to reach overhead, bend, squat, twist, reach, grasp and grip and work in cooler (cold temperatures).
