Ryerson has an opportunity for a Service Center Operator position.

As a Service Center Operator you are responsible for ensuring the material meets a customer's expectations by checking the size, finish, and accuracy of the finished product.

This position is 2nd shift. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday from 2pm-10pm.

Safety is a priority - you will learn proper safety measures via online and in-person training
You start the day reviewing production orders then preparing your material for processing
You will use a crane and/or forklift to move material for outbound shipping
Check to make sure your machine and station is in working order and identify any issues.
You will keep your work area clean and ensure that all workplace hazards are reported immediately
Other miscellaneous duties as directed by supervision
