- Completion of an accredited program in sleep technology
- Completion of a sleep technology program from a licensed or accredited institution, or relevant experience
- Other allied health credential with Sleep Credential within 12 months of employment
- Knowledge of CPAP/BIPAP devices, oxygen administration, and basic computer skills
- Certification by a nationally recognized board (RPSGT, RST, or SDS) within 12 months of hire
