The Supply Chain Manager has ownership of the Supply Chain of 2 value streams and for the following supply chain sub disciplines: purchasing, material planning, supplier relations, production support, production scheduling, inventory management, freight and logistics, and warehouse efficiency.
What you will be doing?Provides leadership and partners with key stake holders across the entity to drive process improvement and meet business objectives.
Provides leadership to Supply Chain Professionals through setting goals which align to the entity's annual operating plans and managing the execution of goals through coaching and mentoring.
Develops a culture of continuous improvement, professional growth, cross functional/cross divisional collaboration and goal planning and execution.Develops and communicates plans which ensure resources are optimized and adequate inventory exists to support the organization.
Develops practices, policies, and procedures in the establishment of the purchasing functions.
Will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure appropriate inventory control as well as establish best practices for receiving and storage, distribution, material processing, and product returns of commercial products, cell banks, raw materials and components.
Oversight of Shipping / Receiving/ Distribution functions in compliance with all required regulations (Customs, IATA, DOT, SOX, GMP's, EMA, etc).
Develops strategies to improve metrics and KPIs as appropriate.Provides regular reports on KPIs to management.
Supports the Company's business continuity program.
Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
Performs other duties as required.
What you will need to be Successful?
Bachelor's Degree in supply chain, business, or related field
A Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in an operation, supply chain, or related area, in a regulated manufacturing environment.
3 of which with people management responsibilityStrong working knowledge of Supply Chain & Operations functions to include Planning, Purchasing, Warehouse, Manufacturing and Quality.
Knowledge of strategic planning processes.
Demonstrated ability in managing inward and out bound supply chain to tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills.
