    LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Obstetrics and Gynecology MD in New York
    We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 7-week locum tenens assignment in New York beginning on Mar 2, 2026. This opportunity offers 24-hour out-of-house call coverage, with the initial week in March and additional sporadic weeks anticipated throughout the year. GYN surgical experience is required, though such cases are uncommon for this assignment. The selected candidate will provide essential call coverage and support for obstetrics and gynecology care.Job Details

    • Provider Type Needed: Obstetrician/Gynecologist
    • Schedule: 24-hour out-of-house call, 7am to 7am; 1 week in March with sporadic weeks moving forward
    Responsibilities and Duties
    • Provide 24-hour call coverage for obstetrics and gynecology cases
    • Respond to emergent and routine OB/GYN clinical needs
    • Manage patient care for both obstetric and gynecologic patients
    • Utilize GYN surgical skills as required (though cases are infrequent here)
    • Document patient encounters using Allscripts EMR
    Additional Information
    • Valid New York medical license required
    • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
    • GYN surgical experience necessary, though not frequently utilized in this setting
