Looking to make a difference in the lives of young people and be part of an amazing team? Our Adolescent Short-Term Residential Treatment Program in Benton, TN is hiring This program is serving adolescents experiencing and struggling with school refusal, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, suicidal ideation, and other mental health issues.
We are looking to hire a creative and compassionate full-time Cook. In this role you will be responsible for planning and preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the students/staff along with special events such as parent days and tours.
Preferred Schedule: Must be willing to work weekends/or rotate weekends.
Responsibilities:Knowledge of proper cooking technique
Knowledge of health codes and proper sanitation
Knowledge of basic nutrition
Skill in preparation of a variety of foods
Skill in food presentation
Ability to adapt to special dietary needs of the students
Ability to work within the designated budget
Qualifications:Prefer two years of cooking experience
Current Food Handlers Permit
Professional training in culinary arts is preferred but not required
Minimum High School Diploma or GED
Able to pass pre-employment federal background check, fingerprints, and drug screen
