    Salary: 180,000-$220,000


    Our client, in the healthcare/AI industry, is currently seeking a skilled and innovative Principal Machine Learning Engineer to join our team.

    In this role, you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge computer vision models to predict breast cancer risk.

    Primary Duties
    Offer technical leadership and guidance to ML engineers, fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
    Develop, deploy, and uphold cutting-edge computer vision models for breast cancer risk assessment.
    Contribute to refining the Company's ML development and production pipelines.
    Collaborate on model validation efforts with academic and clinical partners.
    Provide scientific support for regulatory submissions and compliance endeavors.
    Contribute to peer-reviewed publications and generate Intellectual Property materials to drive scientific understanding and innovation in the field.
    Requirements (Essential)
    3+ years of experience as a technical ML engineering leader, successfully deploying FDA-grade models in a regulated environment.
    5+ years of ML development experience in a corporate setting, preferably in healthcare or medical imaging.
    5+ years of experience in developing Computer Vision ML models (deep learning and image processing) for various image tasks.
    Demonstrated track record of publications and innovations in ML and/or Software as a Medical Device utilizing Machine Learning.

    Practical proficiency in various technologies including ML architectures, toolkits, cloud services, databases, deployment tools, pipeline orchestration, application exchange, and programming languages.

    Requirements (Preferred)
    Previous exposure to implementing orchestration workflow solutions.
    Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for software medical devices.
    Experience in version control of ML models and model registries.
    5+ years of experience using C++ and CUDA.
    Education
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering. Master's degree or PhD in computer science or engineering preferred.
