- Operate a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise
- Perform routine maintenance on the forklift, such as checking oil and water levels, and reporting any malfunctions
- Ensure inventory accuracy by verifying and documenting the quantity and quality of items received and shipped
- Load and unload trucks and containers using the forklift
- Ensure a safe working environment by following safety procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment
- Communicate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective operations
- At least 2 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
