    Weekly breakdown:

    25-30 hours of billing and claims

    10-15 hours of pharmacy order entry

    Duties:

    Contact facilities for prior authorizations

    Review patient discharge information

    Post-consumption billing

    Data entry of resident insurance information

    Review resident fact sheets and make corrections if necessary

    Verify and change any financial pay statuses

    Provide customer service and problem resolution to assigned facilities

    Identify errors that caused claim denial daily

    Re-bill claims as needed

    Assist in overall automation of billing procedures

    End of month bill process

    Visit clients to go over monthly billing statement

    Claim adjudication

    Software:

    QS1 / Framework

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    Will assist in centralized billing of all claims.

    Must be pharmacy technician licensed

    Will work in Pharmacy Tech Data Entry group 40% of the time, when billing tasks are complete
