Job Summary
Loading and moving materials within or near a plant warehouse or work site by performing various duties such as reading work orders and following instructions to ascertain materials to be moved opening containers loading and unloading materials onto or from pallets trays racks shelves loading material into vehicles installing strapping bracing padding to prevent shifting damage in transit conveying materials from storage or work sites to designated areas counting weighing recording number of units of material moved handled on daily production sheet attaching identifying tags labels to material marking information on cases bales other containers stacking assembling bundles banding together as required lifting heavy objects hand power hoist cleaning working area machines equipment operating industrial truck electric hoist assisting in loading moving materials products.
