Job summary

The administrative specialist is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support. The position requires a high level of confidentiality and professional conduct.
The role involves a range of tasks including greeting visitors, answering phone calls, screening incoming calls, providing administrative support to senior staff members,
maintaining and filing documents and records for the office.
Scheduling meetings arranging conference calls ordering supplies maintaining equipment managing email accounts performing other duties as assigned.
  • Act as the Office of Academic Affairs ombudsman by greeting visitors and answering phone calls.
  • Screen incoming calls respond independently when appropriate for senior staff members.
