Job Description

We are seeking a part-time epidemiologist consultant to support surveillance, research, and outbreak preparedness and response activities for our government customer by conducting epidemiologic studies, managing data, and performing statistical/programming coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical planning in day-to-day implementation of medical aspects of scientific research conducted by other scientists.


• Create hypotheses and develop concepts for obtaining health risk data on various public health programs.


• Evaluate long-range scientific projects targeting critical medical problems.


• Liaise with CIOs and institutions on establishing ongoing research collaboration on public health issues.


• Promote evidence-based policies through advocacy efforts while offering leadership across agency-wide healthcare initiatives.
