Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Design Engineer to join our team In this role you will get to lead creative mechanical engineering, supervise the design and testing of cutting-edge prototypes, and ensure effective team collaboration with strong communication skills to deliver innovative solutions to the customer.
What You'll Be Doing:
Completes highly-technical, difficult, and complex design assignments generally utilizing 3D CAD methods.
Performs specialized design computations and analysis.
Performs reviews and provides coordination of data to ensure a compatible design
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
2-year technical degree or certificate of completion from an accredited designer/drafter course (or equivalent)
Typically 4+ years of related experience
Experience with CAD such as Fusion 360 or AutoDesk Inventor.
Experience with Finite Element Analysis
Performs reviews and provides coordination of data to ensure a compatible design
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Familiar with CNC machines
Familiar with 3D Printing
Experience with Robotics
Experience with Unmanned Aircraft Systems
Experience with Modeling, Simulations and Flight Characteristics
