    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Communicates daily with Production Mgt on priority of jobs coming through Sheet Fabrication.
    • Leading role for Machine Operators to accomplish assigned tasks by keeping production materials moving from machine to machine.
    • Responsible for ensuring the production team has all the materials, supplies, tools, and resources required to complete job tasks.
    • Support the improvement and efficiency of production operations in Sheet Fabrication by anticipating and reacting to keep machine operators working at their machines, minimizing downtime for machine operators.
    • Provides job status to Supervision and completes any administrative tasks required to maintain effective communication between senior managers and production employees.
    • Adheres to the Company's Code of Conduct and Business Ethics standards.
    • Ensures good communication with material handlers as needed to maintain material flow.
    • Directs movement of all WIP to and from appropriate work cells / material storage locations.
    • Directs Material Handlers in disposition of scrap material.
    • Cycle counting
    • Keeps inventory neat and orderly and directs other Machine Operators to regain order as needed.
    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
    • Deep Knowledge of Sheet Fabrication equipment, processes, and material flow is a must. That means they not only understand the broader view of operations but also activities specific to workstations. Only with that profound understanding can they generate insight into the needs of the Sheet Fabrication team to identify challenges and needs to overcome issues.
    • Read and write English
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent Education preferred
    • Knowledge of company safety policies
    • Able to read Tape measure
    • Overhead crane certification required
    • Computer Navigation; MOM, Shop Floor Viewer
    • Forklift / Electric Pallet Jack certification required
