Description

We are looking for an experienced Web/Mobile Tester to join our Testing Center of Excellence, focusing on supporting the Pricing and Promotions - Coupon Hub project. The primary goal of this project is to ensure a smooth and consistent customer experience for setting up promotions and coupons. The tester will work closely with application/product owners, functional owners, and tech leads to identify test scenarios, execute tests, verify data flow, and ensure system requirements are met. This role requires effective collaboration across various teams to achieve project deliverables on schedule.

**THIS POSITION HAS A HYBRID WORK SCHEDULE AND IS NOT 100% REMOTE. CANDIDATES MUST CURRENTLY RESIDE IN THE COLUMBUS, OH METRO AREA OR CLOSE**

Key Responsibilities:

Create and validate orders on Web and Mobile platforms, ensuring correct pricing, promotions, and coupon data flow to relevant applications and integrated systems.
Execute project tasks using established software testing methodologies, including test planning, scope identification, test case development, execution, and defect management.
Maintain accountability for assigned testing tasks, providing regular updates, and escalating issues when necessary.
Communicate effectively and tactfully with peers and IT leaders.
Prepare and deliver formal written communications to the project team and leadership as required.
Perform daily assignments with a high level of quality and attention to detail.
Independently drive issue resolution, escalating to leadership as needed.
Use a systematic approach to data gathering and analysis, making fact-based decisions.

Qualifications:

2-4 years of experience in software testing with proven test expertise.
Experience as a QA Tester in the Retail Industry.
Hands on experience with Web, Mobile, and Validation Testing
Preferred experience testing Omni Channel systems.
Strong knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile).
Experience working with multiple teams and integrating across different applications.
Proven experience in an onshore/offshore testing service delivery model.
Familiarity with test and defect management tools, such as Client ALM.
Excellent organizational and planning skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and proactive team involvement.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
