Are you a skilled Histology Technician looking for a rewarding career opportunity in the Dutchess County, New York area? We are currently seeking a dedicated professional to join our team on a permanent basis.
As a Histology Technician, you will play a pivotal role in our laboratory operations, performing various histology tasks with precision and efficiency.
Participate actively in quality control/quality assurance procedures to ensure accurate results.Assist in supply inventory management and ordering processes as needed.
Utilize LIS (Laboratory Information System), Powerpath, and Omni-Trax proficiently for data management.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and utilize various histology equipment, including tissue processors, staining machines, and others.
NYSDOH (New York State Department of Health) licensure as a Certified Clinical Laboratory Histotechnician, Histotechnologist, Technician, or Technologist.
~ An Associate's Degree from a relevant course of study as defined by NYS clinical laboratory licensing requirements.
~ 6 months to 1 year of experience in a surgical pathology laboratory.
~ Exposure to computer systems and proficiency in relevant software.
