This is an exciting time to join our firm as we are continuing to growTax Manager Position OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our team.
The Tax Manager will be responsible for managing tax-related activities including review and preparation of tax returns, tax planning, and other tax compliance functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the preparation of all tax returns, including federal, state, and local taxes.
Provide tax advice and guidance to clients and team members.
Manage tax planning and strategy.
Monitor and manage deadlines for filing tax returns.
Analyze financial statements and other documents to identify tax savings opportunities.
Stay up to date on changes in tax law.
Manage client relationships to ensure satisfaction and compliance.
Qualifications:
CPA eligible or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience in tax preparation and planning.
Knowledge of ProSystems PFX, CCH Software, and other tax software.
Strong communication and people skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice to have:
Client relations experience.
