- Provide HR consultation on policy interpretation, performance management, and employee relations matters
- Support managers in resolving workplace issues through risk assessment and coaching
- Interpret and administer policies, procedures, and collective bargaining agreements
- Investigate employee relations concerns (fact-finding, interviews, documentation, recommendations)
- Maintain accurate case documentation and research prior resolutions and trends
- Partner with cross-functional HR teams (Advice & Counsel, Leave/Accommodations, etc.)
- Educate leaders on consistent application of policies and conflict resolution practices
- Handle sensitive and complex issues with professionalism and confidentiality
- Respond to associate inquiries and concerns with timely, customer-focused service
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- 2+ years of HR or employee relations experience
- Knowledge of employment law and HR policies/procedures
- Strong communication, investigation, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to manage confidential information and sensitive situations
- Must reside in Texas, Ohio, Florida, or Kentucky
- HR experience in union and non-union environments
- Experience conducting investigations and managing employee cases
- PHR certification
- Fully remote, consistent weekday schedule
- Long-term assignment with stability

We are seeking an experienced Associate Relations Specialist to provide HR consultation and employee relations support across both union and non-union environments. This role partners with managers and associates to resolve workplace concerns, interpret policies and contracts, and guide performance and disciplinary processes.
This is a long-term temporary opportunity with potential to apply for internal full-time roles should openings arise on the team.
