- 3 to 10 years of experience in research and development of sophisticated backend services, emphasizing expertise in microservices architecture design patterns
- Basic knowledge of internet architectures and integration methods for microservices interfaces.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in an agile development environment
- Demonstrated ability to collaboratively work in hybrid team environments
- Strong, efficient, and effective written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational and leadership skills

Technical Focus Areas
This role centers on the exploration and development of sophisticated backend services, emphasizing expertise in Microservices architecture design patterns
Responsibilities include analyzing third-party service components, assessing the extent and depth of refactoring needed for seamless integration into a PaaS product line, and ensuring technical maturity in compliance with cybersecurity standards
The role also involves network integration considerations, encompassing areas such as NDN, SDWAN, IPV6, and other relevant aspects
The tools and services focus areas span multiple disciplines, including, but not limited to:
You will be responsible for analyzing and understanding existing mission systems reference architecture, analyzing third-party micro-services, and assessing their compatibility for use in delivering new EMSO capability
Using existing development environments; you will be developing, integrating and delivering micro-services based EMSO products that integrate into mission systems operational environments
You will develop interface specifications using SysML-CAMEO to prototype and visualize system components and interactions
Working closely with Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Network Engineering, and Cybersecurity Engineering teams, you will implement architectural solutions
Articulate challenges and propose innovative solutions that align with customer needs and expectations, collaborating with multiple DoD partners and engaging with customers
