    Job Description
    We are looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for project oversight activities in support of a U. S. Department of Energy IT project, TRANSCOM.Your role will be to support the DOE client in coordination of project resources to ensure contract deliverables, task order work and daily O&M operations are delivered within budget, on schedule and with the highest standard of quality.This position requires a professional committed to learning and supporting all aspects of this mission critical Government contract.

    Responsibilities
    • Manage the technical team working on design, development, quality assurance, and operations and maintenance of TRANSCOM's IT Systems (applications, websites, databases, and custom tools)
    • Manage contract deliverables and task order budgets, scope, schedule, and ensure timely execution, while monitoring risks, and supporting resource staffing needs
    • Cross collaborate with the Government hosted site ISSM and networking staff on Cyber Project initiatives
    • Maintain established trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders for long-term partnerships
    • Lead operational and IT staff with accountability for completion of project team delivery efforts including quality oversight and client acceptance
    • Provide leadership, advice, and guidance in a timely fashion to the team and client
    • Evaluate and recommend strategic planning and Lifecycle for the projects Government Furnished Equipment
    • Position requires flexibility to support a 24x7 operation 365 days a year
    Job Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Senior Team Lead on technology and digital projects
    • Experience with federal government contracting and interacting with key government contracting roles
    • Experience with Waterfall Methodologies and documentation
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills, technical writing skills a must for documentation development
    • Ability to work as a self-starter, take initiative, and execute tasks with minimal supervision
    • Pass a pre-employment drug test and continued random drug tests
    • Pass a pre-employment Aleut background check
    • Pass a post-employment Federal criminal background and credit investigation; position requires a federal personal identification verification HSPD12 Badge.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Agile certification or coursework
    • Experience with federal government contracting processes, proposal to award
