    Job Title: OVERNIGHT ON CALL READY RELIEF STAFF

    Department: FRONTLINE HOUSELESS INTERVENTION SERVICES

    Reports to: ON-CALL MANAGER

    Salary Grade/Level/Family/Range: Level I: $25.00

    Effective Date: 12/15/2023

    FLSA Classification: UNION REPRESENTED

    Job Summary:

    This position is a full-time position with variable sites. Working at multiple sites assigned by the on call manager based on staff levels and need SHIFT 1: 5 days a week 40 hours. Shift times will vary but always stay between 9:30am-9:30pm SHIFT 2: 4 days a week 40 hours. Shift times will vary but always stay between 8:30pm-8:30am The FULL-TIME On-call Ready Relief Staff is responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment for shelter staff and participants. Supports the program staffing levels and operations. Requires a willingness to take direction and initiative to complete tasks.

    Duties/Responsibilities:


    •Perform perimeter checks and walks, ensuring safety of the site


    •Ensuring the quality and cleanliness of facilities


    •Maintaining the gates hack/door/check in area


    •Monitor participants


    •Being present in shelter, active and alert.


    •Checking in with staff and leadership for ongoing tasks


    •Travel required: Will be at different shelter site locations. Must be present on allocations as scheduled.

    Facilities:


    •Maintain safe environment for shelter staff and participants


    •Maintain effective communication with all staff, programs, and community partners.


    •Ensure that all areas utilized by shelter participants and staff are clean, organized, and left in an orderly manner during and after each shift. This may include, but not limited to, cleaning waste, soiled clothing, dirty dishes, etc.


    •Recording daily site notes, detailing the events of your shift so the next shift can reference back for consistency.

    Staffing:


    •Arrive to scheduled shifts on time, take a full 1-hour lunch break, and work the entire shift. (All shifts assigned/accepted are required to attend as defined by primary job duties)


    •Attend supervisions, trainings, staff meetings & any appropriate community professional meetings.


    •Engaging in shelter tasks and remaining present on site for entire shift.


    •Attend and participate in all relevant trainings as directed by the training and safety manager and site leadership


    •Participate in daily crossover meetings.


    •Communicate with Behavioral Health Specialist and additional wrap around team members with pertinent information.


    •Projects as requested/assigned.


    •Answering phone calls.


    •Adhere to all state and federal privacy and security regulations applicable to the program, and to All Good Northwest, hereinafter referred to as The Company's policies and agreements regarding confidentiality, privacy, and security.

    Preferred Experience:


    •1-2 years' experience in a similar role.


    •Client information databases.


    •Direct administrative or support services.


    •Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders.


    •Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.

    Preferred Education:


    •Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or another related field (Preferred).


    •Other relevant certification or training.


    •Lived experience.

    Required Skills/Abilities:


    • Possess an understanding of Housing First and Harm Reduction models.


    • Be able to effectively interact with co-workers and clients with diverse ethnic backgrounds, religious views, political affiliation, cultural backgrounds, lifestyles, and sexual orientations and treat each individual with respect and dignity.


    • Maintain professional and appropriate boundaries.


    •Attend all scheduled shifts assigned/accepted in compliance with attendance policies Additional eligibility requirements:


    • Sufficient manual dexterity and physical ability to perform assigned tasks.


    • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide proof of vaccination. This includes being up to date on all booster shots.


    • Must be able to pass TB test.


    • Must be able to pass a random drug test. Work environment: Working indoors and outdoors in heat and cold | Slippery and uneven walking surfaces | Working in close proximity to others | Exposure to offensive odors Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50lbs | Bending, stooping, reaching | Sitting for extended periods of time | Standing for extended periods of time.
