    Description

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can work independently and provide exceptional customer service.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Installation & Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, ice machines, and display cases.
    • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration system issues using technical knowledge and specialized tools.
    • Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and prevent breakdowns.
    • Customer Service: Interact with clients professionally, explaining technical information in a way that is easy to understand, and provide excellent customer service.
    • Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
    • Documentation: Accurately document all work performed, including service reports and inventory usage.
    • Safety: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial refrigeration service and repair.
    • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification or apprenticeship preferred.
    • Licensing: EPA Certification required; additional relevant certifications are a plus.
    • Skills:
      • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
      • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
      • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks that require physical exertion.
    • Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
