    NURSE MANAGER CARDIOTHORACIC ICU (DAYS)

    The UW Medicine Montlake Campus has an opportunity for a Nurse Manager, Cardiothoracic ICU .
    Full time, day shift.
    Function as a liaison between patients, physicians and other healthcare providers
    Provides leadership and coordination for the Cardiothoracic ICU

    Guides and directs the activities of the Staff Nurses, Assistant Managers, Patient Care Technicians and support staff in the designated unit.

    The Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit is a 24 bed unit. Patient population includes cardiac and thoracic surgery patients, vascular, heart and lung transplants, MCS, VV, ECLS, and TAVR.
    Provides Human Resources support hiring staff, development of performance standards
    Supports hospital mission and objectives
    Monitors high standards/care practice by team
    Masters degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration or related field, or enrolled in a Masters program. At least two years formal supervisory leadership experience in ICU services preferably cardiothoracic, cardiac ICU. ABOUT UW MEDICINE - A HIGHER DEGREE OF HEALTHCARE
