About the company:
Our client is the premier national pharmacy for home infusion services expanding to the Southport, CT area. The Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) will work with franchise owners to launch the pharmacy.
Position Summary: As the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC), you will oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations, ensuring the delivery of top-quality patient care while adhering to industry regulations and standards.
Compensation plan: Salary starting in the $1400,000-$160,000 range with 10%-40% bonus on profitability of site. Please apply for additional details.
Key Responsibilities: Oversees the operations of all departments within the company including pharmacy, nursing, administrative/clerical, and sales in compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures. Oversees and evaluates the financial status of the company, communicates with the corporate office as needed on issues of finance, performance improvement, sales, or clinical implementation of therapies. Provides clinical pharmacy services to the company and consumers through the appropriate evaluation of physician orders, compounding of sterile preparations, and safe and efficient dispensing of medications, supplies, and administration equipment. Supervises the activities of pharmacy support personnel, as well as quality control and performance improvement procedures.
Qualifications: Licensed and active pharmacist in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy in the State of Connecticut Excellent interpersonal skills: proven ability to build strong relationships with employees, referral sources, physicians, and consumers Three (3) years clinical experience Minimum one (1) year experience with infusion therapy and sterile compounding Sterile compounding training Experience with management of pharmacy support personnel
