    This is a full-time, on-site position reporting to the Director of Digital Learning. The Micro-Credential Coordinator will work in partnership with the Community College Growth Engine, NWACC Workforce and an NWACC taskforce to implement a new NWACC Micro-Credential program. This grant-funded position will run for 3 years at minimum.

    Essential Duties

    • Work with a team to connect with regional industries and businesses to identify needs.
    • Ability to Interact with stakeholders across the institution to determine micro-credential opportunities.
    • Develop strategies for evolving and implementing specialized credential needs.
    • Manage the credential software system; non-IT.
    • Evaluate and implement necessary adjustments to applications/processes to accommodate user requirements.
    • Respond to complex and specialized product requests from users via email, Teams messages, and phone calls by analyzing needs, evaluating alternatives, and recommending a course of action.
    • Coordinate with system support to resolve problems.
    • Market micro-credentials and advise students on micro-credentials.
    • Report regularly to internal and external entities.
    • Meet all grant and Community College Growth Engine requirements.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Salary Range

    $42,000 - $46,000 This is a 3-year, grant-funded provisional position.

    • Expertise in Office programs and experience with data management and reporting.
    • Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations.
    • Ability to use common sense understanding to carry out detailed written and/or verbal instructions.
    • Ability to provide excellent customer service to others from a wide variety of demographics.
    • Excels in working at a varied pace and copes well under pressure.
    • Ability to independently set priorities to accomplish goals, meet deadlines, manage time and multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Be flexible to the needs of those we serve.

    Educational Requirements

    Associate Degree + 6 years relatable work experience
    Bachelor's Degree + 3 years relatable work experience
    Master's Degree + 2 years relatable work experience
