Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a qualified professional to join our team as a Maintenance Supervisor for overnight shift at our Tama, Iowa facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the work of employees in the general maintenance and upkeep of buildings, grounds, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize and direct the work of maintenance mechanics
• Ensure production equipment is maintained in a manner that meets company standards and ensures minimum equipment downtime
• Establish and maintain preventive maintenance programs and procedures
• Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications and standards
• Enforce safety, GMP and housekeeping practices

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years maintenance experience and knowledge of refrigeration, plumbing, industrial electrical and mechanical systems required
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of preventative maintenance techniques/scheduling
• Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate throughout all levels of the organization
