    K-5 Special Education Teacher | Minneapolis, MN

    At a Glance:

    • Employment Type: W2 Contract
    • Hours: Full-time, 7:15am-3:15pm M-F
    • Hourly Pay: $32-38
    • Location: Minneapolis, MN
    • Interview: Virtual
    • Caseload: K-5, about 10 students

    Responsibilities:

    • Plan programs that meet requirements of District and State guidelines
    • Diagnoses learning needs of individual pupils
    • Utilizes teaching strategies that are student centered in design and plan anappropriate instructional program to meet the diagnosed needs of each pupil
    • Keep accurate records of diagnosis plans, and achievements of pupils
    • Select appropriate teaching techniques, materials, and resources
    • Select motivational techniques that inspire confidence and provide impetus to thelearning process

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
    • Active license for Special Education in MN
    • Preferred experience withASD, SLD, EBD
    • Proven experience working with young children with special needs.
