We are currently hiring for a Receiving Associate in our Ashland location. This position will receive, inspect, and route incoming materials/product to proper locations.

Duties / Responsibilities

Receive and route incoming materials.
Disbursement of Product into and out of Stores
Allocation of Materials and Labor to higher level assemblies
Completion of basic final inspection
Participate in Root Cause, Corrective and Preventive Actions Investigations.
Coordinate with other functional areas of the business (Purchasing, Quality, etc.)
Complies with Porvair Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
Participate in Continuous Improvement activities.
Satisfy customer's documentation and retention requirements.
Assist and complete inventory cycle counts.
Organize and store items in assigned spaces.
Maintaining receipt records and documents

Qualifications / Training Required

Experience using an MRP/ERP system.
Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications.
Forklift experience.
Prior experience in an inventory/receiving role preferred.
Lift up to 50lbs regularly.
Experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be self-motivated and highly organized.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
Must exhibit independent thinking and problem solving.
Ability to conduct analytical research.
Ability to safely use and instruct other personnel in the safe use of power tools.
