    Description

    Direct Care Staff

    We are seeking kindhearted Direct Support Professionals to fill positions in central New Jersey areas. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting clients and be willing to go above and beyond.

    • Serve individuals with developmental disabilities by providing comprehensive care and individualized support services that maximize their independence, empowerment, personal growth, and quality of life.
    • Provide care and support services for clients with various healthcare needs including personal care, behavioral support, recreational activities, and employment opportunities.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Support client daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming
    2. Promote physical activity through exercise programs or leisure activities
    APluscare prioritizes our clients' well-being by ensuring all staff receive proper training for tasks related to medication administration.

    Additional responsibilities include transportation assistance transporting participants between activities throughout the day providing community integration experiences attending medical appointments maintaining accurate documentation performing routine facility upkeep assisting other departments etc Requirements DSP Position Summary:The following requirements must be met prior to being hired:
