Description
OVERVIEW:
Client is seeking a qualified Solar Construction Manager with experience in Commercial solar projects that include rooftops, canopy's, and ground mount systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversight of daily Construction activities at the job site
Will be responsible for daily and weekly progress reporting
Customer interactions and conflict control
Will manage the construction schedule and will have some insight into change orders while working with the PM
Subcontractor oversight and compliance
Independent work environment, no direct reports. Project team will consist of PM, CM, and interactions with the Safety Manager
REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years of experience managing the construction of commercial solar projects
Strong Microsoft Office software skills
Experience with ProCore
Electrical solar system experience and understanding to communicate with general contractors
Confident in report writing
Attention to detail
