- To maintain, troubleshoot, and update all plant equipment in a fast paced 3 shift operation. This includes machine repairs both mechanical and electrical.
- The ability to identify and resolve plant equipment issues during production hours and also during non production periods.
- This job requires a strong electrical background but also the necessity to weld, complete light fabrication, rigging, lifting, and mechanical repairs to all foundry equipment.
- The individual must be able to complete a preventative maintenance task and review the piece of equipment on a broad level so that there will be no items missed even if they are not included in the preventative maintenance task.
- This job requires the candidate to climb, work in high heat, dirty, and odoriferous conditions. A self motivated individual will need to keep his work space neat and organized along with cleaning up after a job is completed. This goes for shop activities and in plant repairs regardless of their location due to environmental requirements of the plant.
- The applicant must be flexible from crane repair to heat treat and conveyance systems.
- The candidate must be able to trouble shoot PLC's, HMI's, PID, VFD's, control circuits along with all plant pneumatics, hydraulics, facilities systems, and mechanical equipment.
- You must have at least 2-5+ years of Electro-Mechanical job experience
- We are looking for someone with 2 to 5 years industrial experience
- You must have at least a High School Diploma or GED
- You must have some overhead crane experience
- You must have the ability to follow directions and work with other tradesmen
- You must have a strong mechanical aptitude
- You must be able to read ladder logic and electrical prints
- You must have NEC knowledge
- You must have Lock-Out Tag-Out exposure
- Computer experience is a plus
- You must have experience with conveyors and large moving equipment.
- You must take direction well and you must get along well with others
- You must be able to train on 1st Shift - Monday - Friday 6am - 3pm
