    Description


    Are you an accountant that wants to understand and learn how a company's revenue affects the entire business?Do you want to be exposed to all levels of employees (Including C-Suite)?Do you want an accounting position that will also include analysis?Role:As a Revenue Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the Revenue Manager by helping manage a portfolio of the organization's contracts from and accounting and analysis standpoint.

    The focus of this position will be on the organization's contracts, billing, collections, and revenue. This would include contract setup in Workday, assist Manager with month end close, weekly KPI reporting, etc.

    This role is for someone that isn't just a number cruncher, someone that has an analytical mind with a strong accounting background.

    This is for the person that can read through complex contracts and translate that information into simple numbersResponsibilities:

    Review customer contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment in accordance with ASC 606.Support global revenue manager with analysis and intelligence on our customer contracts and the associated revenue recognition.

    Analyze and report key revenue metrics and results.
    Perform the monthly close tasks associated with revenue, preparation of various reconciliations, revenue journal entries and revenue related analysis.
    Work closely with external audit team regarding all quarterly review and annual audit requirements.

    Work closely with regional business development teams to gather contract information in order to timely update within WorkdayQualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree is required.1+ years of progressive accounting experience. Ideally, with a focus on revenue recognition. This role would consider someone out of public accounting that wants to make the move to the corporate side.

    Workday, SAP, Oracle or other ERP experience is a huge plusCompensation:
    A competitive compensation packed will be available for this position including Base Salary, 30% annual bonus, medical, dental, vision, great 401K, profit sharing, tuition, vacation and sick time, paid holidays, etc

    Working Situation:
    This is Hybrid situation with 4 days in the office - Mon, Tues, Wed, Thursday. Friday as work from home.
