    Position Summary:
    As a Registered Nurse Coordinator, you will assist and educate staff in coordinating, implementing, and planning nursing care effectively and efficiently.



    Position Requirements:
    Formal Education / Training:
      1. Licensed by the State of Tennessee.
      2. Nursing diploma or degree from an accredited institution.
      3. CPR/BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
      4. ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
      5. Basic Arrhythmia certification within 6 months of hire.

    Workplace Experience:
      1. Minimum of five years in medsurg and/or critical care patient care delivery.


    Equipment and Skills Training:
    Required equipment includes standard patient care tools and technology. The role demands the ability to work under pressure, independently, and collaboratively.


    Physical Environment:
    The position involves working in medical/surgical/critical care units catering to patients of all age groups.


    Key Results:
      Promotes and maintains quality patient care by guiding and coaching nursing staff.
      Assists in patient care delivery and mentors staff to enhance the patient-centered care model.
      Serves as a resource for clinical decision-making and skills improvement.
      Develops an environment that fosters staff growth and proficiency in nursing skills.
      Provides excellent patient and family customer service to ensure a positive experience.
      Utilizes various teaching methodologies to address staff learning needs.
      Communicates concerns regarding staff practices to unit directors.
      Maintains a professional appearance that reflects the organization's values of cleanliness, orderliness, and safety.
