    Preconstruction Manager Summary:

    • Responsible for sales and marketing during the pre-construction phase
    • Focusing on securing profitable projects for the assigned SBU
    • Champions "The Layton Way" by ensuring integrity, unity, safety, and quality in all dealings

    The Preconstruction Manager collaborates with the SBU executive to develop business plans, implements new marketing strategies, and evaluates services and profit centers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Identifying and securing profitable projects
    • Overseeing business development and customer relationships
    • Managing sales activities, from leads to contract negotiation
    • Setting goals, procedures, and tools for business development
    • Building relationships with vendors, owners, and public officials

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field
    • 5+ years of construction experience
    • Knowledge of estimating and construction processes
    • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication
    • Effective presentation and negotiation abilities
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and related software preferred

    Benefits:

    The Company offers comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance, Retirement Plan, Life & Disability Insurance, Paid Time Off, and more.

    *Salary range: $80,000 - $130,000*

    *Starting salary: $85,000 - $125,000*

    *Eligible for bonus*
