    ** Job Description**

    As the Warehouse and Project Logistics Coordinator, you will run the operations and organization of the Hands On Atlanta warehouse. Youll manage the back-end logistics of volunteer service projects with a large focus on materials and deliveries which play an integral role in assuring our volunteers, and corporate and nonprofit partners have everything needed for a good experience.

    **You Will: **

    Run the operations, organization and inventory of the warehouse, including all tools, materials, food items, incoming and outgoing deliveries.

    Drive, wash, fuel and maintain 18 delivery truck keeping up to date on service, DOT regulations.

    Work closely with tool rental partners to complete tool orders, pick-ups and returns.

    Assist with the companys move from existing warehouse to new warehouse space weigh in on recommendations for layout as well as oversee process for packing and moving existing warehouse.

    Meet with nonprofit partners before service projects to complete workscope document (list project tasks, materials & tools needed) according to set budget. Then work closely with the Partnership team to estimate expenses before service project and reconcile expenses after project.

    Procure items needed for volunteer service projects according to set budget and coordinate delivery to Hands On Atlanta warehouse or project site.

    Lead set-up and break down of service projects according to set diagrams & plans.

    Coordinate volunteers and contractors supporting volunteer events. Plan and explain tasks, tools and materials to small groups of volunteers and ensure tasks are completed safely and to standard.

    Ensure tools are being used correctly and all safety protocols are adhered to by site coordinators.

    Revist completed service projects & complete tasks to Hands On Atlanta standard where needed.

    Provide regular status updates and report to the Associate Director of Corporate Partnerships under the Development Team.

    Highly organized; ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

    High level of professionalism, customer service, and ability to take initiative

    Knowledge in basic carpentry, landscaping, painting

    Knowledge of the metro-Atlanta area and community needs

    Forklift operator certified company will help secure training and certification, if needed

    **Requirements **

    1-3 years of delivery experience with knowledge of event logistics and warehouse operations.

    Computer literacy (PC, Microsoft Office Software)

    Punctuality, strong communication skills, ability to execute an objective, not just a task

    Ability to meet all physical requirements of the job: lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 75lbs., operating a pallet jack, moving pallets up to 2,000 lbs.

    Ability to drive a 18 box truck and operate a lift gate.

    Valid drivers license required with no serious motor vehicle record infractions in the last two years. Be prepared to submit a confidential motor vehicle record to HR.

    Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including early mornings, nights and weekends. Must be available to work MLK Day and 9/11.
